About the position

Now, we are looking for a mid-level QA Engineer to be part of our highly capable QA team!

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work closely with the QA lead, project managers, developers, and product owners to ensure that the final products observe the company’s quality standards. The candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of inspection activities, the detection, and resolution of problems, and the delivery of satisfactory outcomes.

Moreover:

• Work closely with development teams to diagnose issues, resolve defects, and make sure that product releases follow project specifications.
• Participate in the design, development, and implementation of test standards as well as QA procedures to maintain high levels of software quality and product reliability.
• Plan, execute and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing products to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables.
• Contribute to the planning process, establishing tasks and forecasts for work.
• Collect information to design and document reusable test scripts using excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Flag potential critical issues of a project to his/her manager.

Requirements

• BSc / MSc university degree in Computer Science or another related field.
• 3+ years of experience in testing Web Applications and Relational Databases, web services testing, DB scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript/JQuery, HTML5, XML, SQL queries and RDBMS. Experience with NoSQL engines is considered a plus.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks is considered a plus.
• Proven track record and competency in Quality Assurance concepts: test planning, test case design, test case prioritization, test case execution, bug reporting & tracking.
• Experience in testing both back-end systems and front-end GUIs.
• Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices, and defect management practice
• Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Self-motivated, constantly seeking new knowledge.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and multi-task efficiently.
• Accountability and commitment.
• Fluency in English.
• Fulfilled military obligations for male candidates.
